Carlo Ancelotti, the Bayern Munich boss, has said that he is absolutely sure that Arturo Vidal will be staying with the team but admitted that AC Milan target Renato Sanches may leave.
Manchester United have once again been linked with Chile international Vidal who was a target for the team when Louis van Gaal took over in 2014. However, Ancelotti is adamant that the 30-year-old isn’t for sale.

Speaking to reporters this week he said, “Vidal is our player, I have a lot of confidence. I know there are rumours and we’re used to rumours. He’ll stay with us 100 percent, I’m confident about that.”
However, at the same time he said that Sanches might move. Sanches, the 19-year-old winner of the 2016 Golden Boy award and voted best young player at Euro 2016, has been struggling at Bayern since he moved last summer from Benfica.
He only started in six Bundesliga games last season and failed to score or provide an assist in 25 appearances in all competitions. Furthermore, he completed 90 minutes in just one game.
AC Milan have said that they are interested in the midfielder but Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has expressed doubts that the Italians will meet Bayern’s demands.
Ancelotti said that Sanches is still training with the team and that they need to make a decision, but he said that there is a chance that he will remain where he is.
Uli Hoeness, the Bayern president, has also said that Sanches deserves to be given another year to try and make a breakthrough at the team.
In other team news, left-back Juan Bernat has been ruled out for a minimum of two months due to ankle ligament damage that he picked up during the 4 – 0 defeat to Milan over the weekend.
