The Champions League semi-finals are just around the corner, Manchester City will play Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid will take on Bayern Munich. The question is which team will manage to win the competition.
The team is hugely impressive defensively and possibly the best organised team in Europe. In 15 European ties at the Vincente Calderon they have kept 13 clean sheets and knocked out the defending champions Barcelona in the last round so they are unlikely to be intimidated by Bayern Munich. However, they are not as strong scorers as Munich and have scored half as many goals in this year’s competition. Furthermore, the team will be equally focused on taking the title from Barcelona in the La Liga.

This team has scored more goals than any other in the Champions League this season with eight each to Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski. The team has reached the semi-finals eight seasons in a row and they also have the only coach left in the competition who has taken a team all the way to victory. However, the team has made more errors leading to goals than any other in the Champions League this season their opponents will be looking to exploit this.
City has impressed in this season’s competition defeating teams such as Sevilla, Borussia Monchengladbach and Kiev in style and their most recent victory over PSG really pushed the team to the limits. However, the other three teams have all been finalists in the last three years and the other teams are looking far stronger in their domestic leagues.
Real Madrid has won this competition an amazing number of times and Cristiano Ronaldo has scored twice as many goals as any other player in the competition. However, the team weren’t particularly impressive against Wolfsburg and will be worried about facing Atletico in the finals who they have beaten only once in their last ten attempts.
