With the season at an end Premier League clubs are busy negotiating transfers and are likely to continue doing so over the summer.
There has been a lot of speculation over Zlatan Ibrahimovic since he confirmed that he is leaving PSG and many have linked him with a move to Manchester United. However, this week his agent denied reports that the team has offered him a contract but on the other hand he didn’t deny the possibility of Ibrahimovic joining United.

Domestically AFC Bournemouth has rejected a £25 million bid from West Ham for striker Callum Wilson and midfielder Matt Ritchie. Bournemouth has said that the players are not for sale and West Ham are unlikely to make a further offer. Instead West Ham is thought to be focusing abroad in their hunt for a top striker.
Meanwhile Watford has signed a one-year extension with Ben Watson to keep him at the club until 2018. Having scored twice this year he was an important part of Watford’s successful return to the Premier League. However, it is not yet known who will be replacing head coach Quique Sanchez Flores who is leaving the team despite the successful season.
Elsewhere Newcastle United is coming closer to confirming that Rafa Benitez will remain as manager next season. He signed a three-year deal to become Newcastle boss back in March but the contract included an option to cancel at the end of the season. Since the team’s relegation was confirmed there have been doubts over whether the Spaniard would stay at the club but it seems that there is a good chance he will. After the team’s last match he said that his heart is telling him to stay with the team and that the backing of the fans is also a great positive.
