The Liverpool midfielder Allan has moved to the Bundesliga to join Hertha Berlin on a season long loan deal.
The 19 year old who is also a Brazil U20 has not yet made a first team appearance for Liverpool since he joined them from Internacional back in September 2015. Since then he has had two loan spells, one with SJK in Finland and another with Belgian club Sint-Truidense, during which he played a total of 17 first team games.
Allan will be joining Hertha Berlin with the aim of gaining more experience in the upcoming season.
Also in the Bundesliga, Schalke has agreed to sign Sevilla right back Coke on a three year contract. Coke has spent five years at Sevilla since joining from Rayo Vallecano in 2011 and he scored twice in the 3 – 1 victory over Liverpool in the Europa League final last season.
In a statement on Schalke’s official website the team’s sporting director Christian Heidel described Coke as a “very good defensive player with considerable international experience”. He went on to say that “Winning the Europe League title three times in a row is a great achievement. He is going to be a part of our side as an important and leading player.”
It is not known how much Schalke has paid for Coke but the team said that he will be wearing the No 23 shirt while playing for them.
It has been a busy transfer window for Schalke, Leroy Sane has moved to Manchester City and Joel Matip has moved to Liverpool. The team has signed a number of players including Breel Embolo (from Basel FC) and Baba Rahman (from Chelsea). They have also signed Robert Leipertz from FC Heidenheim and Naldo on a free transfer from Wolfsburg.
